Celebrating 50 Years of Title IX and Tiger Girls Basketball

This year we are celebrating 50 years of Title IX and 50 years of modern Burlington-Edison Tigers Girls basketball.  Our team this year has chosen to celebrate all of the coaches and athletes connected to Tiger basketball over the last 50 years. Our girls are wearing pink shoes and shooting shirts (these take pink to a new level by the way!) with the #50 on their sleeve and a dedication to Title IX on the front of their shirts.

We are also marking this year as a celebration by honoring former coaches and players from the last 50 years of our program.  If you are a former player or coach, we would love to have you join us on Saturday, January 7th for our varsity game vs Mount Baker where we will have a pre-game and halftime ceremony to honor your contribution to the Tigers basketball program.  Please come on out for the JV game at 1:15, our pre-game celebration at 2:45, and our 3:00 varsity game tipoff to watch our current girls team in action.

We would love it if you would come spend the day with us, go down Tigers basketball memory lane a little, and support the current Tigers girls basketball team.

Additionally,  the Annual Hall of Fame Game will be Friday, January 13th at the boys basketball game. We will induct 11 new members into the B-EHS Athletic Hall of Fame. Game time is 7:15pm.
