During the months of September and October, students across the Burlington-Edison School District are engaged in art projects to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15th - October 15th). Students at West View school created colorful (and loud!) percussion instruments fashioned after the traditional green, red, and white of the Mexican flag. Students at Bay View school created Mexican Folk Art mirrors bedazzled and uniquely designed to reflect their individuality. Look for more projects from all of our school sites in the coming weeks!
