Items available to bid include: 2000 Thomas school bus - Model SAF-T-LINER MVP-ER 140HS, 2006 Thomas school bus - Model HDX-130YS, Hypertherm plasma cutter CNC table, metal lockers, Espar diesel block heaters, office items, and many other miscellaneous items. The surplus items can be viewed and bid on online at Publicsurplus.com from October 3 - October 14, 2022. If you are notified of a winning bid at the end of the bidding time frame, you have 10 days to pick up your item(s). Save the Date! At 6pm on October 19, 2022, Dr. Medina returns to discuss the Three Goals of Dual Language (Las tres metas de un programa de educación dual). This Zoom event is open to all B-ESD families. This is a one-hour workshop designed to help families understand the three goals of dual language. The three goals of DL are the foundation of any successful program. The session is facilitated in English and Spanish simultaneously. Later today, NASA's long-awaited DART mission will test an asteroid deflection system by hitting a double asteroid 24,000 miles away from Earth. One of the main team members of this mission is Allen School and B-EHS graduate, Dr. Catherine Plesko of the Los Alamos National Laboratory. Learn more about this mission at https://dart.jhuapl.edu.
