Green Club is one of the many clubs at B-EHS with meetings held every other Wednesday afternoon. We are trying to make a positive impact in our environment through local projects. Last year our club was able to complete one of our bigger ongoing projects of planting trees, which our Green Club officers helped water throughout the warmer months of the summer. Currently, our club is working on collectively coming up with a plan for our next big project and, so far, are considering implementing plastic recycling in our school to help reduce the amount of waste our school produces.
In addition to our larger projects, Green Club also picks up paper recycling on campus, hosts club hikes and trash pick-ups in the community. These projects are extremely beneficial both for the well-being of our environment and for team building among club members.
