Math Night

The K-12 Community Math Night featuring Ruth Parker, Ph.D will be Oct. 21, 08 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. in the Burlington-Edison High School Cafeteria.  The topic for this event will be “How To Help Your Child With Math At Home.”

This is the same person presenting as last spring, but the topic is completely different.  There will be Spanish interpreters on hand to assist.  Students 4th grade and older may attend the event and there will be childcare available.  We will also have  door prizes, cookies and juice.

If you teach math or have children attending the schools in our district – this is a wonderful evening of math learning.  Ruth explores common misconceptions about mathematics education and will describe specific ways for parents to help students with mathematics.
