Welcome to Lucille Umbarger Speech and Language!
My name is Jennifer Hill and I am the Speech Language Pathologist serving students grades K-8 at LU this year. While originally from Washington State (grew up in Grandview, WA), I most recently moved to Mount Vernon from Central Florida. I worked in a K-8 School from 2007-2009 in Celebration, FL (a Disney planned community) and did private practice work there from 2008-2011. Prior to that, I worked as an SLP at an out-patient clinic in Bellevue, WA for 6 years from 2001-2007. I have my Bachelor's Degree in Speech and Hearing Science and my Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Washington. I am board certified and have my Certificate of Clinical Competance (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA).
