The Burlington-Edison School District technology department is committed to providing exceptional support to all staff and students by keeping technology equipment up to date and operational.
The support provided involves purchasing, keeping inventory, assembling, delivering, setting up and maintaining equipment. Examples of the equipment supported by the department include computers, printers and other miscellaneous equipment such as digital camcorders, document cameras, DVD players, external drives (HD/CD/DVD), LCD projectors, PDAs, scanners, televisions, VCRs and wireless access points (WAPs).
The technology department also provides a variety of support services such as helpdesk, technology competency training, and WESPaC (Skyward) administration.
In addition, all computer operations, network operations, and telecommunications are handled by the department.
