I teach Special Education at the high school. Depending on the students and classes, I teach a wide variety of skills to students. I teach Authentic Learning classes that help students discover "real world, hands on." -(exerp) My title is Transition Coordinator. For about half of my day I oversee the programs of 18-21 year old students who are finished with the high school, and are working on entering the community. This often means I help them find and keep a job. At times, this also includes helping them with domestic tasks or transportation issues too. The other half of my day I teach Authentic Learning classes.
