MARKETING II

COURSE MISSION:

Apply marketing skills in a variety of settings – be ready for anything.
Prepare a written proposal for a new business venture (short version)..rev up your dreams and passions
Develop an analytical and creative approach to the marketing process..do this for all of life anyway
Actively engage students in marketing activities – don’t expect to sit, skate or sleep through this class.

GRADING:

Grading is based on:
1. Worksheets/notes
2. Written projects
3. Teamwork/Participation/Attitude/Effort/Perseverance and Creativity


STUDENT EXPECTATIONS:

The Business and Marketing Department at Burlington-Edison High School utilize all the Discipline Policies and Procedures in the Student Handbook with the following additions:

Tardiness: The participation grade will be lowered for tardiness; the third tardy and consecutive may result in detention and administrative action.

School-Related Absences: Approved family vacations and extended illness of five or more consecutive days fall into this category. The student is still responsible for the course content covered but may not have to make up the daily work. Daily work grades will be assigned at the current Competence grade. However, all missed tests must still be taken.

Cheating: Cheating is the taking of others work and claiming it as your own or providing answers to someone who claims your work as their own. Suspected assignments will be given zero for both the cheater and the person providing the answers.

Missing Assignments: Missing assignments will be given a zero. Papers without names will be thrown away.

Late Assignments: Late assignments must show the dates absent at the top right-hand corner for full credit. Assignments can be one day late for each day of excused absence. Late papers without an absence may not be accepted for credit.

Seating charts: Seating assignments may change anytime at the instructor’s discretion. Lack of cooperation may result in being written up for insubordination
