A Washington State native, Ms. Cook graduated from Puyallup High School in 1994 where her favorite class was any histoy class. After high school she attended Western Washington University where she recived her teaching degree in 1999. Her favorite music artists are Anita Franco and O.A.R Outdoors is Ms. Cooks favorite place to be her favorite activites include running. She has ran in the San Diego Rock n' Roll marathon in 2001 and will run in the Chuckanut Ulta 50 Kilometer race in March. She also enjoys snowboarding, biking, and snowshoeing.

Ms. Cook is also an avid reader. Her favorite books are;Their eyes were watching God, by Zora Neale Hurston, and Hard Laughter, by Anne Lamott.

Ms. Cook is also the dance team coach.
