okay, i think i just figured out why blog entries look backwards. you post the most recent one on top. good crap...took too long to figure that out. i suppose if i was a little more current, that would have clicked a long time ago. learned the word "firecrotch" yesterday...that was great.
ec opportunity from december 17th is off (congratulations to sarah berentson)...however, the one from may 9th 2007 is still on. so if you want to take a shot at that, go for it. ok...that just took a lot out of me...i'm done for now. thanks for playing.

-here ya go...an extra credit question. get the solution, email me the response(jpowers@be.wednet.edu, put EC SOLUTION in the subject)...of course, to get the extra credit, you are going to have to be a student in one of my classes. yeah, go figure.
here it is.
2 guys (or girls, or a guy and a girl...whatever) are playing poker. all 52 cards are laid out face up. player one gets to pick any five cards he wants. player two then gets to pick any 5 cards. player one now can keep his original hand or draw up to 5 cards. his discards are put out of the game. the second player may now draw likewise. person with the highest hand wins. suits have equal value. the first player can always win if he draws his first hand correctly. what hand must this be?

if you are reading this, then you have an extra chance at even more extra credit. wow. on your copy of your final, put the magic number in the appropriate spot, or, if there isn't one, put it by your name and circle it. yep, that'll do it.

man...its hard to keep up with this blog when you don't look at it.
but...here's one for ya. the main page of this website, has a title. what is it, and what does it refer to?
for extra credit, email jpowers@be.wednet.edu with the title in the subject line and what it refers to in the body of the email. yes! woohoo! word riggs. and no, i don't know how much extra credit it is worth, but extra credit can't hurt...can it?
