About Mrs. Klassen:
I grew up in Puyallup, Washington. The house that my parents brought me to after I was born is the same house that I left when I went away to college. I never moved. I attended the near by public schools until high school, when I attended a private school. I enjoyed both types of schooling.
After I graduated high school, I attended Trinity Western University in British Colombia. There I majored in English, briefly played on the women’s basketball team, worked in the cafeteria, worked in the writing center, and worked as a residence assistant. In my spare time I played ultimate frisbee. It was on the ultimate frisbee field that I met my husband. We married after I graduated TWU.
I then attended Western Washington University where I received a Masters in Teaching. I student taught at Lynden High School, substitute taught for a semester, and then was hired at Burlington-Edison High School. I love the students and staff here at B-EHS. B-EHS is a wonderful place to learn and work.
