Global Studies is a semester, elective course that combines the study of physical geography, development of cultures, and human interaction with the environment. The course will study regions of world with an emphasis on geography as it affects a country’s history, economy, political systems, customs and traditions. Units of study include: 5 Themes of Geography, The Global Environment & The World Today, The Middle East & North Africa, Western and Eastern Europe.
