British Literature is my favorite class to teach. There is so much more to read-about 1000+ years more actually! I've always enjoyed the challange of reading literature from another country and trying to understand it from their perspective. Many of our early writers patterned their work after the Europeans, specifically the English, and so by working to understand Brithish culture and literature we gain better perspective on our own.
