Welcome to Burlington-Edison Track and Field. We are coming off a fantastic season in 2008 and where or girls won the State Championship and where the girls and boys both won the 102nd Skagit County Championships. This year our boys and girls were once again victorious in winning the Skagit County Championship title. Track and field is a fun sport and more social than other sports you may find in our school. We are the largest team in the school with over 100 track athletes every year. Track and Cross Country are the only co-ed sports in the school. Playing time is based on statistics that you produce, it is NOT a coaches decision. It is perfect compliment to other sports. It can help you run faster jump farther and higher, increase coordination, improve your balance and get you in shape. You can see your success and improvements in every meet you participate in.
