Students in Beginning Ell Speak little or no English. The emphasis is on building receptive and spoken English. Students at this level will learn varying amounts of everyday English. They will be able to comunicate on a limited basis and answer short questions. The emphasis in this class is to strengthen conversational English,and begin to build reading and writing skills through ELL texts that work on content area concepts.
