Team Support IA, Detention Supervisor and ELL IA

Pending Experience:

In 1992, I began working at the high school in Special Ed. In 2001, I became the Team Support IA for Special Ed; being the clerical support for all five Special Ed. teachers. I also supervise detension after school four days a week and one hour daily to help out in the ELL classroom.

Previous Work Experience:

I worked in the fields at the age of nine with my parents doing the seasonal harvests such as asparagus, strawberries, raspberries, cucumbers, apples, grapes, etc. After that, I managed to earn the bosses' confidence and did payroll for the field work employees for several years. I volunteered at my children's Head Start Program, which opened the door to into education I stared working for the BE school district in 1975 in a first grade classroom for six years until the funding ran out.

Other:

in 1982, I started working at the high school in the Special Education Program. I worked in the classroom helping students with math. Until about three years ago, when I became the Team Support IA taking care of all the clerical needs of the Special Ed. Program. I also supervise detention after school four days a week. Two days a week I help out in the ELL classroom.

For my hobbies, I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren, I have 8 grandchildren ranging in ages from 3 years to 18 years old. They are wonderful kids and I take great pride in them. I also enjoy spending time with my friends, taking vacations together and sharing special moments with them.
