STRENGTH
TRAINING (BIGGER, FASTER, STRONGER) (10-12)
Length: 2 Semesters
Prerequisite: Passing grade in Physical Education 9 or Weight Training 9 and
instructor’s permission. Permission slips are available in the counseling
office. Only 2 sections will be offered
This
class is for students interested in improving their strength, fitness, speed,
agility and flexibility. It will be taught based upon the Bigger, Faster,
Stronger program and philosophy. Activities will include lifting 3 days per
week, plyometrics, conditioning and flexibility 2 days per week. Grading is
based on participation, conditioning, attitude, effort, and written work.
