AEROBIC
FITNESS (10-12)
Length: 2 Semesters
Prerequisite: Passing grade in Physical Education 9 or Weight Training 9
This is an
activity period that will focus on improvement of you personal fitness level.
Class will include aerobic exercise, step aerobics, jogging and plyometric exercises
to enhance personal fitness. This class will lift weights 2 days per week and
participate in conditioning activities 3 days per week. This class will teach
muscle anatomy as well the physiology of muscle development. This class is for
hard working and highly motivated individuals. Grading in this class is based
on participation, conditioning, attitude, effort, assignments, tests and written
work. This class may be repeated for credit.
