Beginning Ag. Mechanics

Designed for the students who want practical skills in general metals work, which are useful in agriculture as well as at home or on the job. The student will work on welding, electricity, and plumbing as well as general shop skills. Developing safe work habits and the ability to work cooperatively with others will be required at all times. Students will provide their own coveralls to wear in the shop. Leadership activities will be provided through the FFA. Students must have safety test documented for entrance into 2nd Semester.

Advanced Ag. Mechanics

The student will have an opportunity to advance technical skills and knowledge of materials, design and fabrication of various structures. The student will be working on projects of their own or others from the community, developing independent thinking skills and work habits. Students will provide their own coveralls to wear in the shop. Leadership activities will be provided through the FFA.
