In the fall the student body at B-EHS nominates three peers and three staff members that they feel are supportive of others and willing to go out of their way to build others up.
After the nominations are collected the people who receive a majority of votes attend a three-day retreat at Warm Beach Camp in Stanwood. This retreat teaches them how to improve their helping skills and how to contact helping resources when problems exceed their limits.
