The Burlington-Edision (B-EHS) FBLA chapter has a history of successful competition at many levels. We compete in the Northwest Region of Washington State FLBA in February at our Winter Conference, which is held at Warm Beach Conference Center in Stanwood. We compete against members from the 15 high schools in our region.
If a member places 1st through 5th in an event at regionals, then that person gets to attend the State Business Leadership Conference held in April. At this competition there are approximately 2,000 students from high schools throughout the state that compete in around 40 events. Students are awarded trophies for 1st through 5th place.
If a member places 1st or 2nd in most events (and in some events the student must place 1st), he/she gets to travel to the National Conference held in late June or early July.
