GRADING CRITERIA

Course Title: English II

The following grading scale will be adhered to for this course.

      90 - 100 A
      80 - 89 B
      70 - 79 C
      60 - 69 D
      00 - 59 F

All writing assignments will be scored according to the criteria outlined in the Kentucky Writing Assessment Holistic Scoring Guide.

Open response and on demand writing prompts will also be scored according to the scoring criteria for the specific prompt from the core content for the Reading/Writing assessment.

Multiple choice, short answer, matching and other questions asked on tests and quizzes to demonstrate knowledge will be scored one point for each correct answer.
