EXTRA-CURRICULAR OPENINGS

The Burlington-Edison School District is seeking qualified applicants to coach/manage the following extra-curricular assignments for the 2008-09 school year.

BURLINGTON-EDISON HIGH SCHOOL

Fall Activity

Volleyball “C” Squad

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Knowledge of and experience with applicable techniques and strategies of assignment.

· Demonstrated ability to motivate students and to use positive communication techniques in working with students, parents, and other staff.

· Meet or be willing to meet the WIAA coaching certification standards.

· Possess or be willing to obtain a valid First Aid/CPR card.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

· Individuals presently employed by the district who wish to apply for the above assignments should submit a letter of interest to Human Resources. Preference for filling positions from within school staff.

· Individuals who are not presently employed in the district will be considered after other screening completed. Application materials are available at the phone and address listed above.

· Interviews and appointments will be made as soon as possible.

· Salaries for the above positions are consistent with district salary schedule.
